How can we help?
Clear answers about access, opportunities, collaboration, and how professional credibility is checked.
Getting started
The Consultant Place connects independent consultants, consulting firms and organisations that need professional services. Consultants and firms can discover opportunities, find collaborators and build teams. Organisations can submit assignments and identify suitable experts or firms.
Creating a profile and exploring the platform is free. Some features or services may be paid for as the platform develops. Any charges, subscription terms or service fees will be explained before you commit to them.
Where the platform supports multiple roles, you can maintain an individual profile and represent a firm through the relevant account or team setup. Keep personal experience distinct from the firm’s organisational credentials.
Opportunities and matching
Opportunities may include consultancy assignments, research and evaluation, technical assistance, project implementation, advisory work, requests for proposals and specialist contracts. Availability depends on the calls listed or sourced by the platform.
We compare an opportunity’s requirements with information such as skills, sector experience, qualifications, previous assignments, location and availability. Depending on the assignment, budget and team composition may also matter. Matching may include human review; users remain responsible for final selection and application decisions.
Yes. Consultants can connect with complementary specialists, and firms can identify associates or partner organisations. Before bidding together, agree roles, fees, responsibilities, intellectual property, confidentiality and submission arrangements.
No. The platform helps users discover opportunities and assess potential matches, but does not guarantee awards, selection, performance or project outcomes. Users should complete their own due diligence and agree the engagement terms directly with the relevant parties.
For organisations
An organisation can submit a Terms of Reference, RFP or project brief. We use the requirements to identify relevant consultants, firms or potential teams. Depending on the service, this may involve a self-service process, human review or additional sourcing support. The organisation retains responsibility for procurement and final engagement decisions.
Before uploading confidential material, review the platform’s instructions and applicable terms. Share only documents you are authorised to disclose. If a secure submission route or confidentiality arrangement is not available for your request, contact the team before sending sensitive documents.
Trust and your information
Verification refers to a specific check, such as identity, qualification, reference, project evidence or firm registration. A verified indicator means the stated check has been completed; it does not guarantee future performance or validate every claim on a profile.
Profile details help us present your expertise and identify relevant opportunities. Documents submitted for an assignment are used to assess and facilitate that assignment, subject to our Privacy Notice and applicable terms. The Privacy Notice explains what is collected, who may receive it, retention and applicable data rights.
Contact the platform through the published support channel and include the profile or opportunity reference and a description of the concern. We may review, correct, restrict or remove content where appropriate, subject to our policies and applicable law.
